10+ years B2B SaaS UCaaS CCaaS CRM HubSpot Leicester, UK

I have spent over a decade selling B2B software. UCaaS, CCaaS, CRM platforms. I have worked with startups, mid-market businesses, and everything in between. And what I have seen, over and over, from the vendor side, is the same pattern playing out.

A business leader goes looking for software. They land on a website, fill in a form, and before they know it they are sitting through endless sales pitches, discovery calls, and random follow-up calls. People chasing them for more information without ever being upfront about what it is actually going to cost, or genuinely working through what they need. That is the pattern. That is what is broken.

Not every buyer is the same, though. Some businesses know exactly what they want. They have done this before, they know which vendor they trust, and they go straight to them. Others do not know where to start, so they run a formal RFP or bring in a consultant to manage the whole thing for them.

BriefMatch was not built for either of those. It was built for the buyer stuck in between. They know there is a problem in the business. They are just not sure which vendor solves it, and they have been putting off the search, because they know exactly what is coming. Hours of discovery calls and demos, only to find out three or four hours in that the product does not fit their budget or their requirements after all. That is real time lost, per vendor, before they even get a straight answer.

BriefMatch is the alternative for that buyer. You tell the platform exactly what you want. We match you against vendors who are genuinely suitable, and we give you real pricing, or a clear price range, so you know where you stand before anything else happens. We do not share your details with any vendor until you say so, on your terms, at the time and date you choose. It skips through roughly ninety percent of the usual process and gets you straight to the answers you actually need.

That is what BriefMatch is. Simple as that.

Who BriefMatch is for

There are three types of software buyer. We built this for one of them.

Understanding the other two matters, because it explains exactly where BriefMatch fits and where it does not.

Type 1

Knows exactly what they want

They have bought this kind of software before. They know which vendor they trust, often from past experience, and they go straight to them. No real search required.

Type 2

Runs a formal process

Bigger businesses with the resource to run a proper RFP, or the budget to bring in a consultant to manage the whole search and shortlist for them.

Type 3 · BriefMatch

Knows there is a problem, not which vendor solves it

No in-house expert, no consultant budget, and no appetite to lose three or four hours per vendor on calls that might go nowhere. They have been putting off the search entirely. This is who we built BriefMatch for.

🧠

You know what needs fixing

You do not need a consultant to tell you there is a problem. You already know. You just are not sure which vendor actually solves it.

You have been putting it off

Not because it is not important, but because you know what is coming. Hours of discovery calls, demos, and follow-ups per vendor, with no guarantee any of them fit.

🔒

You do not want to be chased

You have filled in a form before. You know what happens. Your details get shared, your phone rings, and you are on email sequences you never asked for.

💷

You want to know what things cost

Real pricing, or a real range, before you speak to anyone. Something you can actually plan around, not "get in touch for a quote."

BriefMatch is probably not for you if...
